World Knives is different than other knife related internet retail stores. Yeah, we sell knives, but we also are a resource for information about knives and their origins and history.

We have designed World Knives to be an interesting and enjoyable experience even if you don't end up buying from us.

Our website is not a typical "plug-in" commerce website that anyone with a few hundred dollars can buy into. We have built and improved this website from scratch after spending years studying what does and what does not work in the virtual retail world.

Easy navigation is very important to us and you will see a number of ways to find what you are looking for.

Running across the top of the homepage is a list of our most common categories. This is a quick way to browse all of one type of knife, like "nautical" knives for example.

Scrolling down to the left you will see a column called "knife search". To search for a specific knife you can use a single search term and hit submit. Try the word "damascus" for example and you will every knife that has that word in the title.

Below the knife search box you can see three drop down boxes that allow you to find knives by MANUFACTURER, TYPE and COUNTRY.
