THE MAKING OF TAYLOR EYE WITNESS POCKET KNIVES
The Eye Witness trade mark was first registered by knife maker John
Taylor in 1838. He took as inspiration a line from Shakespear "no eye
hath seen better".
Over the past 170 years of continual manufacture Taylors have strived to produce better knives. Taylors Eye Witness remains an independent company producing all their output of folding knives 100% in their Sheffield factory.
Their Premier series of collectors knives uses the finest materials (Mother of Pearl, Ox Horn, Buffalo, and Ram`s Horn individually made by Sheffield`s finest craftsmen, with the aim of producing the most beautiful knives ever ever produced in this famous city.
Many of the knives feature exquisite file work on the knife backs.
Time, effort, skill, tradition and the highest quality materials have come together to create the exquisite knives of the Premier series hand made by Taylor's Eye Witness.
