The new "Trappeur" from Chambriard is a very fine hand made lock back knife with every attention paid to detail and quality.
The look and feel of this knife are truly superb! The mechanism is extremely precise and the blade has virtually no "play" in the open position.
This big knife measures 8 1/2" open, 5" closed and has a razor sharp 3 1/2" Sandvik 12C27 blade.
The handle is made from select Amourette wood (also called Snakewood).
The knife features a unique and beautiful locking system that secures the blade in the open position and releases the blade with a gentle push of the decorative button.
The spring features hand filed decoration - each one is different and no two knives are alike!
Each knife comes with a brown leather belt sheath.
This is one of the finest knives to come out of France in years!
