This "magic knife" is from the catagory of "lovers knives." Traditionally in the Central and Southern Itlay this type of knife was exchanged between engaged couples or lovers as a symbol of their love.
This is a stunning knife 100% hand made in Scarperia. The solid one-piece buffalo horn handle is intricately adorned with sterling silver and bone inlays. The spine and spring head are beautifully worked and the the blade is etched with a pair of lovers and other decorative elements.
This beautiful knife measures 9" open, 5" closed and has a 4" blade.
It comes in an impressive gift box, polish cloth, protective cloth bag and history.
