This is the newest model from Fontenille Pataud and it is spectacular!
It is the first in a range of hand made locking Laguiole folding knives made in Theirs, France by the artisans of Fontenille Pataud.
This beautiful knife is expertly crafted. It features the traditional shephard’s cross, Laguiole bee, mirror polished blade and bolster, polished amourette (snakewood) scales and hand file work unique to each knife! The file work extends to the full blade back and front liners.
It measures 9 3/4" in total length, 4 3/4" closed and has a 4" blade. It aslo has a unique back locking mechanism that keeps the blade locked securely when in use.
This beauty comes in a VERY FINE velvet and calf skin presentation box (not pictured). Also included is a certificate of authenticity.
