Kappetjin Hand Made Iklwa Large Liner Lock Knife - KSA15
Kappetjin Hand Made Iklwa Large Liner Lock Knife - KSA15Kappetjin Hand Made Iklwa Large Liner Lock Knife - KSA15

Kappetijn Knives is based in Pretoria, South Africa. Each Kappetjin knife is hand-made to exacting standards. Although these knives have the features, design and quality craftsmanship collectors look for, Kappetjin's philosophy is to make knives to actually be used.

Kappetjin's damascus steel uses a combination of 1075 high carbon steel and 4340 high nickel steel. All blades are hardened and triple tempered to achieve a hardness of 57-59 HRC.

"Iklwa" is Shaka's short stabbing spear. This 4" design personifies the spear point design of the Iklwa spear.

This beautiful folder features Kappetjin's twist damascus blade, polished 420 J2 stainless steel bolsters, polished bone scales with black pakka wood and brass inserts, hand-filed stainless liners and blade back and a brass one hand opening thumb stud.

The action and tolerances of this knife are excellent. The blade lock up is rock solid with literally no blade play!

This knife measures 4 1/2" closed with a 3 1/8" blade.

The knife you see is the knife you will get.
