This is a rugged and professional quality military knife hand made in the Caucasus region of Russia by the craftsmen of Kizlyar.
You won't believe what a fine piece of steel this knife has. The blade and tang are one piece and measures 5/16" thick!
This knife features a mirror polished, highly contoured Russian 65X13 stainless steel blade (very similar to 440c), hard wood handle and fine leather sheath.
The steel used by Kizlyar is equivalent to 440c stainless steel hardened to 55-58 HRC.
Each blade is also marked with a unique serial number.
This nice knife measures 13 1/2" in total length with an 8" blade.
This is a very fine military grade knife!
