This is a fantastic etched dagger hand made in the Caucasus region of Russia by the craftsmen of Kizlyar.
This beautiful dagger has a leather disk handle, tang to bolster construction and a deeply etched, razor sharp stainless steel blade. This one features a detailed Buck etching.
The steel used by Kizlyar is equivilant to 440c stainless steel hardened to 55-58 HRC.
The etching is done by hand. Each side differs slightly and each dagger is unique. Each blade is also marked with a unique serial number. Please note etching may vary slightly as each is done by hand.
This nice knife measures 11 3/4" in total length with a 6" blade (sharpened portion). It includes a deeply embossed custom leather sheath including the Kizlyar logo on back.
