This is a fantastic tool traditional to many Japanese gardeners!
The Hori-hori (Japanese for Dig-dig) was originally used as a tool to dig out small trees used for Bonsai. It developed into the most used of all Japanese gardening tools.
The Hori-hori is excellent for weeding, digging, cutting roots and sod and a thousand other uses.
The blade on this fine Hori-hori is mirror polished stainless steel. The blade is spade shaped and concave for digging use. One side of the knife is a regular blade and the other side is serrated for cutting roots and touch plants. There are also ruler markings in centimeters.
Included is a handy belt sheath.
