This is the Myerchin Offshore Rigging Knife.
It is a professional quality knife made for hard use and is utilized by members the Coast Guard, Navy and Merchant Marines worldwide.
This knife measures 8" open with 3 1/4" a 440 stainless blade. It measures 4 3/4" closed.
The handle is made from Micarta with a locking blade and solid one piece marlin spike
The shackle acts as a lock-release mechanism.
This knife comes in a gift box and includes registration papers and a tough Cordura belt sheath. Each knife is stamped with an individual serial number.
Each Myerchin knife is warrantied with this statement from owner John S. Myerchin: "If your Double Lock Folder fails under normal use I will replace it".
