...Japan is considered the current reigning king of fine quality culinary. We carry knives from Masahiro and Hattori of Japan.
We also have several unique culinary knives from other countries.
We sell a wide variety of high quality culinary knives in a range of prices and styles. Whether you are a professional chef or a weekend gourmet World Knives will have a kitchen knife suited for your purposes.
We offer many knives from Masahiro of Japan.
Masahiro was established in 1932 and is one of Japans largest and most respected cutlers.
They produce a range of high quality cutlery that will serve the purpose of normal kitchen use and professional food preparation.
Masahiro knives use the best blade materials available including MBS-26 stainless steel, SK-5 carbon steel, Molybdenum Vanadium Stainless Steel and laminated high carbon stainless steel.
The handles as well are made of the best possible materials including stabilized Pakka wood, Magnolia wood (very traditional) and composite plastic.
Hattori is a Japanese company that makes a variety of super high quality hunting pocket and culinary knives. Their best sellers are the HD line that is used by Chef's all around the world.
The Hattori Company is located in the Japanese city of Seki. Seki is one of the world's hotbeds of cutlery manufacture, and Hattori is one of Seki's best.
Hattori is a contractor for a few select knife manufacturers in the US, but they also have a line of superb knives that have only been available in the Japanese market - until now!
World Knives is the first company to be introducing Hattori knives here in the US.
We are proud to introduce these knives into the US market because they are unique, beautiful, but most of all because they are the best quality production knives we have ever seen.
The quality of craftsmanship and materials used in the production of Hattori knives is outstanding. And true to the tradition of Japanese art these knives have a "Zen" quality. The lines, colors and design are aesthetically beautifully.
Hattori knives show the quality and detail of excellent custom made knives.
