The Lappland is the all-purpose camp knife of the indigenous Sami people who inhabit the far northern reaches of Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Russia in the Arctic. The Sami people use this style of knife in their daily mobile life.
This large knife has a fairly thin non-laminated steel blade that is effective slicing. The handle is made of birch with brass fittings. The Lappland comes with a traditional Scandinavian style leather sheath where the knife sits deep and secure.
